Select the ratio of the posting destination and move the horizontal and vertical focal point to bring important parts into the frame. After saving, you can also confirm the final confirmation on the submission screen.
Select the posting destination ratio first
The basic options are 1:1 for Instagram square images, 4:5 for vertical posts, 9:16 for Stories and Reels, and 16:9 for horizontal images on X and YouTube.
If you force the same image to match all ratios, faces and text will be cut off. It is safer to create a separate file for each posting destination.
Bring important parts into focus
Cropping expands the image to fill the frame and removes the top, bottom, left and right edges that extend beyond the frame. Move the focus horizontally and vertically, leaving faces, products, and headlines.
Designs with photos of multiple people or text on the edges tend to have insufficient margins to cut through. It will be easier to make adjustments if you prepare a manuscript with important elements placed closer to the center.
Rotate and then cut out
If the photo is oriented in a different direction, select rotation from 0, 90, 180, or 270 degrees, then adjust the focus. As you rotate it, the width and height will be swapped, so check your position again.
The on-screen preview is for checking the composition. Also check the actual pixel count and appearance after saving.
Reconfirm on the SNS posting screen
The SNS side may also cut out a portion of the profile list or timeline. Preview just before posting to make sure your text, logo, and face are in a safe position.
Save the original image and the output for each destination separately, and leave square, story, etc. in the file name to avoid making mistakes.
Selectable SNS presets
Output pixels are fixed values in the current implementation.
