Take photos from directly above in a bright place, arrange the images in the desired order, and then convert them to PDF. Once completed, be sure to check the page orientation, legibility of the text, and total capacity.
The final result is determined by the shooting before converting to PDF.
Receipts are prone to shadows and reflections, so take photos in a bright place, such as by a window. Take a photo from directly above so that all four sides of the document are included, and avoid including too many desk patterns or unnecessary objects.
Focus on amount, date, and publisher. Smooth out any folds or curls, and slightly adjust the brightness of the thin text on the thermal paper before converting it to PDF.
Decide the page order first
It is safer to organize the images before selecting them than to rearrange the order after creating the PDF. Decide on rules that make it easy for recipients to check, such as date order and application form item order.
If you have trouble understanding the order of the photos on your smartphone, you can put only the photos you need into a special album. On the PDF generation screen, check the thumbnail for final confirmation.

Adjust the orientation and margins
If you mix portrait and landscape orientation, you will have to rotate the screen every time you read. Pre-rotate the image so that the tops of the text are facing the same direction.
You don't have to completely eliminate white space. If there is enough margin that the edges of the paper can be seen, it will be easier to determine that the entire document is included in the photo.
Open completed PDF before submitting
Open the page from the first page to the last and check for any missing, blurred, upside-down, or out-of-order pages. If the submission site has a capacity limit, also check the PDF file size.
If the photo contains information that is unnecessary for submission, such as personal number, card number, address, etc., please mask it appropriately according to the instructions provided by the submission destination.
